Ontario’s youth help green Canada by planting trees

About 100 volunteers, including the local Scouts, made Guelph a little greener on April 25th. Ed Borczon from Tree Canada led the group in planting over 1,500 trees.

As well, Great Gorge & Fireman’s Park in Niagara Falls utilized all 14 of their volunteers from Katimavik Youth to plant over 750 cedar trees on May 27th with the intention of planting another 750 this fall. Tree Canada’s Ed Borczon was also present at this event.
